BASIC FUNCTIONALITY OF HORIZON

The basic functionality of Horizon ensures joint management of executive, financial and accounting information. It is based on the functional modules of business accounting and recording that help companies and public institutions to work more efficiently and transparently.

 

General Ledger
The General Ledger allows clearly and precisely account the results of company's financial performance and ensures budget drafting and implementation control. The basis of the General Ledger is a flexible technology of developing account plans and dimensions suitable for any level of financial accounting including organizations with highly complex accounting principles.

 

Cash Flow
Wise management of the cash flow serves as a basis for successful performance of the company. Horizon contains an asset accounting module designed for accounting and processing of cash and banking operations. This module is integrated in the overall system of accounts settlement. It allows to automate performance of routine financial operations and make this process more easy. The system allows to attribute payment documents to particular debit documents (for example, goods or services purchase documents) and it ensures effective control of the cash flow.

 

Stocks
Horizon's module the Stocks ensures complete recording and accounting of company's stocks and offers easy option to prepare reports on turnover of the current and strategic stocks. The functionality of the Stocks module supports all everyday operations of a warehouse that is especially important for retail and wholesale companies.

 

Settlement of Customer Accounts
For a proper accounting of the company's business operations, it is necessary to have a detailed and comprehensive accounting of payment settlements with customers, suppliers and of advance payments as well as to ensure supervision of contractual and other obligations of the company. These functions are supported by three modules in Horizon – the Customers Accounts, the Suppliers Accounts and the Contract Management (accounting of contractual obligations). This functionality is closely related to other basic modules of the software – the General Ledger, the Cash Flow and the Stocks. It provides also detailed statements on the status of accounts with clients and suppliers over any given period and in different currencies.
