Retail Trade
The solution designed for retail companies supports complete functionality necessary for the companies operating in this sector. It covers functions starting from a cashier's operations to ample data analyses possibilities. The module can be used as an autonomous system in one outlet as well as an integrated solution for a chain of shops. The functionality, among others, covers links with cash desks, cash desk systems or Point-Of-Sales (POS) and fiscal printers. The data exchange function between a resource management system and a cash system allows to establish and apply a uniform retail policy of the company (sales prices, discounts, etc.) as well as to analyze sales data.


Wholesale

The solution for wholesale enterprises provides sales process monitoring, flexible price and discount policy development, management of orders and deliveries. Using the possibilities offered by the solution, companies are able to control efficiently their business processes, payments, non-cash/cash transactions and transactions involving invoices, as well as account and analyse debtor/creditor liabilities. The wholesale enterprise solution also includes an irreplaceable solution for chain stores. It’s composed of a number of programs, and their interaction ensures the organisation and management of sales processes, providing common administration of discounts and goods baskets, as well as the supervision of the flow of goods in both chain stores as separate entities and the entire network. The solution offers the opportunity to centrally analyze sales results and develop common trading forecasts.

 

Forest Exploitation
The Forest Exploitation module provides technical support to the companies dealing with forest exploitation – buying up of felling areas, logging and timber selling. This sectoral solution ensures the specific accounting functionality of the forest exploitation business allowing to perform the recording of necessary quantities, planning and output analysis.

 

Timber Processing
The autonomous Timber Processing module provides the specific accounting and recording functionality necessary for timber processing companies in addition to the basic accounting functionality available to the users of the system. The Timber Processing functionality forms the system of timber accounting, production and logistics. This IT solution is suitable for the companies of different profiles – starting from the sawn timber production and processing to provision of different related services like transport, export, etc.. Integration of this sector specific solution with the basic functionality of Horizon ensures that the entered primary data are automatically sent to the accounting system for further processing and recording.

Grain Accounting

The Grain Accounting solution ensures the vital functionality for companies storing and processing grain. This sector specific module of Horizon among other things supports development of grain procurement documents and their accounting including the calculation of grain net weight, grain drying and separating costs taking into account the level of humidity, purity and other parameters. The functionality of the module also ensures recording of grain submitted for storage.

 

Payment for Services of Educational Establishments
The Payment for Services functionality supports the accounting of payments for services provided by kindergartens, schools and extra-curriculum establishments. This IT solution ensures recording of services provided by educational establishments, calculation of service fees and control of payments for educational, catering and other services. It is possible to keep records of the provided services and make payments. The functionality of the module can be used by educational establishments as well as by local governments handling centralised financial accounting for educational institutions.
